Chem-Tec One is a unique product that acts as a “preservative and densifier” for your driveway or sidewalk, resembling liquid concrete. When applied to the concrete surface, the “sealer” easily penetrates deep into the substrate, initiating a chemical reaction with the calcium and lime present in the concrete. This reaction results in the formation of a gel that gradually hardens, effectively filling the pores of the concrete permanently. As the gel solidifies, it expels contaminants like oil and salt that might have been trapped in the concrete. Over approximately 30 days, this process takes place, and with the help of rain or snow, the old salt and oil residues are washed away.
