Our proprietary manufacturing process protects the filter against the sun's damaging ultraviolet rays, as well as mold, mildew and fungus.  The process starts with a "jelly" that has special UV and biocide protection built into an exclusive chemical formula. The result of this process is a polyurethane plastic material, which is extremely porous, inhibits mold, inhibits mildew and inhibits fungus and highly durable to the sun's rays.

When wet debris is left standing in your gutters, mold, mildew and fungus will attempt to grow there. With Gutter Protection by Window Genie's built-in biocide protection, it inhibits mold, mildew and fungus. This is not a surface coating or additive, or a temporary treatment, so it will not wash out or wear off...EVER!

Covers and screens have an especially difficult time keeping some types of debris out of your gutters. For instance, pine straw, maple "whirlies", seeds and small leaves tend to get into your gutters or entirely block your covers and screens, preventing any water from entering the gutters.

Our filter system doesn't modify or damage your house in any way. It installs without screws, nails, or brackets, and isn't dependent on your roofing shingles. Therefore there's no chance of voiding your roofing warranty.
