Our History

Window Genie was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1994. Back then, it was simply a window-cleaning company, but the mission quickly expanded to meet more exterior maintenance needs, like pressure washing, gutter cleaning, window tinting, and holiday lighting. Today, Window Genie is a nationwide leader in exterior cleaning services for homes and small businesses.

Window Genie of Charlotte began in 2022 with a clear purpose: to provide a service the community needs while creating meaningful opportunities for our team. Our owner came to Window Genie after six years as a mechanical design engineer at Toyota — and that engineering background still shapes how we work today. We bring an engineer's eye to every job, approaching tough cleaning challenges as problems to be solved with the right technique, the right equipment, and a focus on doing it correctly the first time.

That problem-solving mindset extends to the people who do the work. Lead technician David Molina has been with us since nearly the beginning, in 2022 — a homeowner himself who's deeply committed to his family and community. Deven Stern, a lead technician who's been on the team since day one, brings the kind of dedication and work ethic that customers notice the moment we arrive.
